Ashland joint webinar – sugars deep dive: advancements in lyophilization technologies

view on demand

Lyophilization is one of the most important steps in designing a successful biologic drug product. The formulation and lyophilization techniques selected are critical to product stability and efficacy. Accordingly, many global biopharma companies rely on sugars and lyophilization in nearly all of their biologic drug products, and industry scientists pay close attention to advances in this field or to tools that make this process more predictable and better understood.

The designs of formulations and lyophilization cycles are critical for maintaining product quality in biologic drugs and the use of high-quality excipients, such as Ashland high purity low endotoxin (HPLE) sugars, is all but mandatory for regulatory compliance. Ashland vialose™ highly purified sugars can help to stabilize biologic formulations and overcome supply or quality related problems versus the competition. This joint webinar combines a wealth of industry expertise to provide a practical view of advancement in lyophilization technologies for HPLE sugars.

This hourlong session will highlight practical insights into:

  • the Ashland HPLE sugars portfolio, including vialose™ trehalose dihydrate and vialose™ sucrose and technical capabilities in lyophilization
  • IMA’s 'Lynfinity Spray Freeze Drying' continuous lyophilization technology and 'Digital Twin' smart manufacturing technology
  • advances in software used to predict lyophilization performance

Register for the webinar replay today to gain understandings of HPLE sugars and advancements in lyophilization technologies.
