Improving solubility and enhancing stabilization can pose significant challenges in drug development. Cory Mahnen is a graduate of Kent State University, with a Master of Science in biology. He currently leads the parenteral and biopharma R&D teams at Ashland. With more than a decade of experience working in complex parenteral product and process development, his focus is primarily on long-acting injectables (LAIs) utilizing PLGA in the form of nanoparticles, microparticles and in situ depots.
