Prior to Ashland, Denise held marketing and positions in personal care at Croda; industry management positions at Univar; and sales, market research and marketing positions at the Dow Chemical Company.  Denise holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and has had executive education at IMD in Switzerland.  Denise has 19 years of experience in the Personal Care Industry and has authored several articles.

Dr. Jean-Marie Botto, obtained his PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Molecular  Biology at the University of Nice (France) and  is senior group leader at Ashland's Global Skin Research Center in Sophia Antipolis, South of France. He has specialized in skin and hair biology, pharmacognosy and bioinformatics. His work focuses on understanding the mechanisms of intrinsic and extrinsic skin aging, the regulation of skin pigmentation and skin disbalance such as acne with the goal to help develop relevant dermo-cosmetic ingredients.
