Crospovidone provides rapid disintegration and dissolution to oral solid dosage forms. Polyplasdone™ crospovidone particles are granular and porous compared with other superdisintegrants. The high surface area combined with unique chemistry results in high interfacial activity that enhances the dissolution of poorly soluble drugs in a way that is not possible with other disintegrant technologies.

Dr. Vaishali Tawde has rich and diverse experience in ingredient industry, delivering business value in high-growth environments through a leadership. She has done her phd. In Pharmaceutics, Mumbai, and with Post graduate Diploma in “Pharmaceutical Business Management” from Mumbai.
She has techno commercial expertise of over 25 years spanning sales-marketing, new business development, product launches, channel management, direct customer management & technical sales leadership experience.
She started her career with leading Pharma companies like Pfizer, Novartis ,MERIND and IPCA Labs Limited, and then moved to BASF India Ltd where she worked for 12 years for techno commercial role in excipient industry. She is working with Ashland for last 4 years and currently taking responsibility of Business development and Marketing at APAC level.
She has released 5 patents and was published in several research papers .
Dr. Saurabh Gupta
Technical Business Development Manager- India, Japan, Korea
Dr. Saurabh Gupta has 12 years of research experience in Formulation Development. He is currently working as a “Technical Business Development Manager Pharma – India, Japan and Korea” in Formulation R&D, Ashland. He was earlier responsible for “Pharma Technical Services Expert” in Formulation R&D, Ashland. He has done his Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Sciences) and M.Pharma from J.S.S. College of Pharmacy. He has filed formulation patent for Rheumatoid Arthritis treatment which was successfully granted. The formulation presented by him was published formulation in two international publications and he has submitted several research papers.
