APAC #2: Tuesday, 3:30 p.m. IST - 5 November 2024

Ashland’s easy-wet 300n wetting agent acts as a high-performance wetter in pesticide formulations to improve coverage and sticking to crops. It sticks and spreads to the crop leaves by reducing surface tension of water on the surface without run off. This allows it to better adhere to the waxy coating of the leaf so that water can absorb into the crop, encouraging the plant to uptake pesticides applied. It has a high tolerance to salt alongside having good pH stability.

Easy-wet 300n wetting agent presents benefits over other chemistries for a variety of reasons, including:

  • being inherently biodegradable and having low-foaming and non-gelling properties
  • being produced with zero VOCs
  • increasing drift control
  • being a superior silicone-free wetter with potential high uptake
  • having excellent spreading resulting in reduction of AI use, decreasing the amount of pesticide usage, and saving of expenses

Join us to learn about easy-wet 300n wetting agent, Ashland’s new sustainable multifunctional wetter generation for Crop Care.

key learning objectives:

  • Easy-wet 300n is a high performing silicone-free sustainable solution to increase efficacy of crop protection products.
  • Results from 6 field trials where the addition of easy-wet 300n to commercial formulations increased both the effect of the pesticide alone, and in comparison to competitive wetting agents
  • Easy-wet 300n provides both performance at low concentrations and multifunctionality, effective reducing driftable particles during spray application.
